25-29" Wing Plumes -

There are about 70 feathers in one pound of this size. The number may vary depending on the ratio of long feathers to short feathers within that pound. We try to supply an even quantity of every size between 25" and 29" so you get very close to 70 feathers in each pound.

20-24" Wing Plumes -

There are about 100 feathers in a pound of 20-24 " Wing Plumes. Quantity does vary in this size range, but it's usually right around 100. These feathers are generally recommended for vases 26" and under.

14-17" Wing Tips -

These feathers are not really what we consider plumes. They are too small for a typical centerpiece and are usually used for crafts and decorations. They are sometimes used for very small centerpieces mixed in with floral arrangements. The fibers can also be stripped from the quill to be used for jewelry, hair clips, or even fishing flies. There are about 200 feathers in a pound of 14-17" Wing Tips. This size is available in black and bleached white only.
